We offer several modification options to allow clinicians to design the Sprout3D to best treat each patient. However, the Sprout3D is a more standardized device due to the manufacturing process and rigidity of the plastic. If customization is required beyond what we offer in the ordering portal, we recommend exploring traditional thermoplastic options.

Plagio Mod Options:

  • Standard – Up to 2 cm of symmetrical build, modify cranial shape to full symmetry (no less than 1 cm, no more than 2 cm)
  • Growth Chart – Recommended for 8-10 month old age range (not for infants less than 6 months old), use age and starting circumference of patient, follow corresponding growth to add 4 months of age (treatment time)
  • Posterior Only – Up to 2 cm of symmetrical build, utilized for Infants with no frontal involvement (or no void space desired)

Brachy Mod Options:

  • Standard – Hold width of cranium and adjust posterior, modify cranial shape to full symmetry (no less than 1 cm, no more than 2 cm)
  • Focus on Symmetry – Void first utilized on TDD/asymmetry, remaining void (up to 2 cm) used on CI/disproportion
  • Focus on Proportion – Void utilized on CI/disproportion, TDD not accounted for
