Katie Toth, CPO

Director of Education and Research at Surestep

Katie Toth, ABC Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist, is the Director of Education and Research at Surestep. She has taught and spoken regionally and nationally about pediatric orthotics since 2017. 

In 2013, she started building her pediatric O&P practice in Upstate New York. In the process, she developed relationships with local PTs and other clinicians. She drew insights from all members of a patient’s care team to improve decisions about orthotic interventions.

In her education role, one of her priorities is collecting patient outcomes for future research. She believes in using evidence to improve decision-making about patient care, helping clinicians build more effective practices.

Katie earned her bachelor’s degree from Western New England University in 2012. While practicing O&P, she earned her Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2015.
