HEKO Prefab
The HEKO PreFab offers all the support capabilities that the original HEKO does, but comes pre-fabricated. Children who need stability without sacrificing function will gain more of both with the HEKO PreFab.
By offering the HEKO orthosis in a pre-fabricated version, physical therapists and orthotists can offer more flexibility than allowed by the original HEKO. The HEKO PreFab comes in four sizes and are perfect for patients up to 50 lbs.
Indications:
- Knee instability
- Genu recurvatum
- Flexible genu-valgum
- Genu-varum
Contraindications:
- Fluctuating edema
Functional Support:
These devices offer support and stability to promote function and address low/high tone. Patients are able to actively correct when cued.
