Spring Flex AFO
The Spring Flex AFO (ankle-foot orthosis) is designed to help kids maintain and improve their range of motion. The dynamic joint provides a low-load stretch over an extended period of time and offers various tension levels. Fully padded for comfort, the Spring Flex joint can be oriented to stretch into dorsiflexion or plantarflexion and locked for easy donning and doffing.
Indications:
- Ankle contractures
- Spastic involvement
- Equinovarus deformity
- Would benefit from dynamic stretch
Contraindications:
- Fibrosis
- Ankylosis
- Ossification
- Deformation of muscles and bones

- Molded inner boot material and thickness

Alignment Control:
These devices provide maximum support and positioning with limited flexibility within the device and address high tone. Patients are able to actively correct when cued.
